John Grigsby

John Grigsby is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. He is an empirical macroeconomist studying a broad set of questions related to wage and unemployment dynamics, the drivers of historical innovation, the functioning of mortgage markets and the distributional consequences of inflation. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago in 2020, and Bachelor's Degree from Washington and Lee University in 2012. John serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of the European Economic Association and is affiliated with the NBER.
